Patricia Lucas holds a degree in Biology from the University of La Laguna (2014). She completed her doctoral thesis at Pablo de Olavide University in the field of Biotechnology, specifically focusing on the role of sugars in the rare disease galactosemia type III. During her thesis, she participated in numerous national and international conferences. At the same university, she has been involved in teaching activities in the area of genetics, associated with the master's program in health biotechnology and the degree in biotechnology.
Patricia holds a master's in health biotechnology and has training in clinical trial management. Throughout her career, Patricia has worked in various laboratories, dedicated to clinical analysis, genetic testing, and bioinformatics analysis.
Patricia has extensive experience in participating in research projects in collaboration with public institutions and private companies, as well as in European research programs under the Horizon 2020 framework of the European Commission.
